I received a prayer from a friend and I thought I'd share it here:

LORD,
Enlighten what is dark in me;
Strengthen what is weak in me;
Mend what is broken in me;
Bind what is bruised in me;
Heal what is sick in me;
Straighten what is crooked in me;
And revive whatever peace & love have died in me.

Fighting the Devil

When somebody did something bad to us, it is human nature to fight back. When temptation presents itself, we get confused on how to deal with it. Men are sinners, that's a fact. And leading a Christ-like life is impossible. But thanks to God's grace and eternal love for us, He gives us strength, wisdom, courage, enlightenment and endless chances to repent. Whenever I feel so bad about something, somebody or get confused on where to turn to next, I pray. When people do bad things to me, I pray. But how do we deal with bad things or temptation anyway?

Matthew 4:1-11

1Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Season for Every Reason

Things happen for a reason and there are no coincidences. When you feel down and lonely, just remember that God has plans for you and that will be revealed in time. Just let Him guide you and you will be alright.

Trusting the Lord

When you trust the Lord, you need not fear. When I face some difficult problems, I look to the bible for inspiration and this verse is really a life-saver.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

O Holy Spirit, soul of my soul, I adore Thee. Enlighten, guide, strengthen and console me. Tell me what I ought to do and command me to do it. I promise to be submissive in everything that Thou permits to happen to me, only show me what is Thy will.

Tomorrow Is Another Good Day

Do not fear what may happen tomorrow. The same loving Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and everyday. Be at peace then, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginings.

Positive and Good

The ability to find and appreciate the positive and good things in life is a reflection of the positive and good thing within you.

Think positive, think of good things and things will come back to you in ways you never thought possible.

Life is cycle, you get what you give.

It's All About Love

When it comes to LOVE, this is the perfect definition for it. 1 Corinthians 13:13 is my favorite bible verse.


1 Corinthians 13

1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

God's Strength

God made a promise that you won't face life alone...

Right Direction

Direct me Lord to where you want me to be.

Give light to my steps and a lamp to my feet.
